This workshop will focus on recent methodological advances in latent variable models and dimensionality reduction techniques for the analysis of complex and high-dimensional data. Key topics include variable selection in high-dimensional settings, clustering methods, modelling of mixed data, item response models, and joint modelling of complex longitudinal and multivariate data. The event will include a plenary talk by Geert Verbeke entitled “Joint models for high-dimensional longitudinal data”.

The workshop brings together leading international and national experts and is organized within a funded PRIN 2022 project, fostering collaboration among several research units from the Universities of Bologna, Firenze, Napoli, Roma “La Sapienza”, Padova, and Udine.
